There was a knee in his back and a hand tearing at his hair, holding his head down with his cheek against the floor. He couldn’t see what was happening, but could hear Zhao Yunlan cursing and someone ordering his hands to be chained.


“If you harm him, I will end you,” Shen Wei growled, and for a moment there was a pause, as if the men around him hesitated, but then another voice spoke up.


“Take him to the Lord. You have your orders.”


Ye Zun.

 

Fair warning: I'll probably take a pause from posting next week, since I doubt people will have digested all the 520 fic that goes live tomorrow until then. I have my own ~ 16 k fic  to release into the wild, and I'm so exited!!

The tease is wonderful, and it's great to have something to look forward to the Friday after next, when I will surely have made my way through all the 520 goodness. ♥
